Dove Prism are usually made of optical glass and have the simple shape of a right-angled triangular prism. Light is reflected twice inside the prism, rotating the image 180° without reversing it left to right.
In optical systems, they are often used to change the optical path direction and adjust image orientation, and are widely used in instruments such as telescopes and microscopes to optimize imaging quality and optical path arrangement.
