Rhomboid prisms have an octahedral structure composed of parallel rhombic surfaces that can accurately translate light beams without altering the propagation direction of light, achieving lateral displacement of the optical axis. Rhombic prisms are commonly used in optical instruments such as binocular eyepieces for microscopes and rangefinders, effectively translating light without inverting the image.

Optical High Precision Rhomboid Prisms

Product Overview：Rhombic prisms are usually made of BK7A or fused quartz. They can move the light beam laterally without changing its direction, and can achieve functions such as beam splitting and polarization separation through coating.

Rhomboid prisms have two main application.
1. They  are commonly used to displace a laser beam without changing its direction. 
2. In imaging applications, they will displace the optical axis without inverting the image.
