Pyramid Prisms, also known as Paul prisms, are isosceles right-angled prisms made of glass with the end face facing the right angle. Light enters from a large rectangular surface and exits from the original incident surface after two total reflections from the inclined plane, which has no dispersion effect, but flips the image 180° and returns in the original direction.

Custom-coated Hollow Corner Pyramid Reflectors

 

Pyramid is a three-dimensional figure that, unlike a prism, only has one polygonal base. The vertices of the base are joined by segments creating lateral faces shaped like triangles that meet at one point above the base of the pyramid. That point is called the vertex of the pyramid. You may also see that point called the apex of a pyramid.
